NORTH CHARLESTON – Courtney Waters, District 4 Trustee of the Charleston County School Board, has endorsed Deon Tedder for the special election to fill the seat of State Senator Marlon Kimpson.
Waters, who represents parts of North Charleston and Charleston on the school board, issued the following statement:
Deon Tedder is the leader we need for District 42. I have found him to be a person of integrity, who can be depended on to follow through on his commitments. A core value that I hold is honesty. We must be able to trust in those we elect, and that is central to me as a Trustee of Charleston County School District 4. It would be an honor to work alongside a trusted ally in Rep. Tedder as a State Senator on behalf of the kids and families in the communities I serve.
