CHARLESTON, S.C. — State Rep. Deon Tedder released the first tv ad of his campaign today for State Senate District 42. The Democratic Primary for the seat will be held September 5th, with early voting beginning on August 21st.
Entitled “Dear Dad,” the commercial is biographical. Tedder lost his father in 2008 just as he was about to attend S.C. State for undergrad. His family rallied behind him to take care of his mother so Deon could pursue his studies. Since then, he went on to become a lawyer, a state representative and, most recently, a husband.
